Ugh, still haven't been able to even work on this since spring break!! I'm plenty proud of my work I'm doing in school, and that's all I've recently uploaded, but I like doing my owwwnnn stuff =/
I still want to work on creating my own stuff more from imagination rather than copying pictures (or still life...) - which this lily and most of my other work is.

Edit: lol I found the reference picture! I'm scared to post because I don't want it to be directly compared and judged xP

For someone who gave up drawing a long time ago but still has kept an interest as a watcher, I would like to say that you did a wonderful job with this one!
As a specialist in flower photography, I was really amazed to see that someone could create such a gorgeous flower drawing including a broad variety of details. Especially the waterdrops came out perfectly, creating the illusion that they could drop at any instant from the flower petals. Another important aspect which you mastered perfectly are the different shades of pink you employed, creating a striking contrast with background kept in a turquoise blue tone.
The only thing that is preventing this drawing from unfolding even more of its charm is the camera you used to take a picture of it. The shape of the petals could've contrasted more with the background.
But besides that, splendid work!
