This is my 2nd and last project in metalworking I and it was again a very painful process. Nothing ever goes right -_- So, I hate metalworking. I'm happy with the finished product, but it won't get an A. Craftsmanship issues all over the place. It's supposed to be a metaphorical self portrait . I was just doodling for the idea before I knew that and I drew something that looked like Midna. It actually works though, because I can make it mean a lot of things like my siblings who are probably even more into Zelda than I am, and how I like all sorts of fantasy-type stuff (books, art, games, etc. )
The metal is copper except for the rivets, which are brass. The "stone" in the middle is just a bead my mom had. And the Midna shape as well as the blue-green color in the bottom layer are enameled.
It's about 3" x 5" - A little too big for a pin, but that was the requirement and it has a pin back. I just don't care about it being a pin though
Thanks yeah, I'm going to give it to my sister because she's a Zelda freak and she'll love it even if it won't be functional I would really want to use it as a pin, it seems just so fragile to me and I put so much work into it o_o
